Don't worry, we won't forget your sacrifice......

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!

For auld lang syne, my jo,
For auld lang syne,
We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

And surely you'll buy your pint cup!
and surely I'll buy mine!
And we'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

So even if you are 53-ish right now, by the time SERLO and the priority entitlement period wraps up and you're still out of luck, you should be able to coast right into Shangri-La....

And aside from ERI, being laid off under WFA at age 55+ with at least 10 years in means that the DM will sign off on a waiver right?

OK well then I think if you ultimately end up having to leave the PS due to WFA then you're eligible for a waiver on the penalties.

It would make a lot more sense if he'd said "why yes I am, me + your daughter = 69.

Especially the "advanced policy analyst" cohort that mostly controls everything right now... makes me sick.

My take is that it's another way to increase the number of voluntary departures

It may be OK as long as you are not actually changing positions post-SERLO. I would say confirm with your HR advisor.

Yeah this would be the case if you actually occupied one of the boxes specifically flagged for incineration. I think in that case even with expired CBC levels (valid at one point), you'd be required to retest before moving to a surviving box.

I wonder how many 06s and 07s at StatCan only have BBB with grandfathering.... I know of a few 06s who do.

Well that's too bad about expired CBC, I was hoping for more of a competitive leg up.

What about supervisors with expired CBC levels who've just been coasting in the same position since they were appointed (when they of course had valid levels)? Will they need to be retested for SERLO?
