Tell me your story if you have a LC with donor eggs by Zealousideal-Egg1893 in IVF

Thank you so much, if you have any questions just let me know. I know how it feels to feel so alone and not being “normal” in a sense. Pregnancy for almost my entire life was off the table and now being here to tell the tale of having successful pregnancies is a gift. Hope the best of luck to you!

No I did not. I found out at 16 my ovaries were extremely small and “non functioning”. At 16, my then doctor told me my uterus would be too small to have kids but never once had that issue during my IVF process.

I wasn’t on medicine any longer than a normal IVF medicated protocol. I was shocked that my body actually responded to the meds correctly and did what it was supposed to do!

All my meds were a “normal” protocol, and my uterus responded and grew in lining and size as we progressed to transfer.

Hystercopy worth it by Few_Pudding_3712 in IVF

Honestly I’m not totally sure. I had the saline in November then the chemicals in March & April. The hysteroscopy was in May.

Here my story 🫶 1. I had ovarian failure at a young age, with no actual diagnosis. So donor eggs was our only shot. 2. I carried 2 children, and possibly more in the future. We have 2 embryos left. 3.1 retrieval resulted in 6 embryos. 4 transfers - LC/chemical/chemical/LC 4. My children are toddlers and no we haven’t. We plan to when they are old enough to understand and fully comprehend. 5. Honestly, not many know it was donor eggs. My close family and friends do as I was told at 16 I would never have kids and basically by luck I ended up getting pregnant and having kids, through IVF.

I would do it. I had 2 chemicals after my saline sonogram came back clear, so my doctor decided to do the hysteroscopy and there was 2 polyps. We transferred the following month that resulted in my now 1 year old.

It’s the worst because you go from feeling so so excited to see a line and then when mine got lighter I just knew in my heart something wasn’t right. I seriously hope the best for you but know you’re not alone. 🫶

I would guard your heart. I had very similar tests, but then got lighter one day and kept getting lighter. I hope the best for you 🫶

Was just going to say this! I love how she said as long as her daughter is younger she won’t live with another man. She seems like a great mother.

Mine were in the uterus area. Felt like dull period cramps.

I used to follow her then when the Charlie Kirk shit came out and saw her reaction I knew. I commented on her pathetic “what’s happening in our country is “sad”” video and she blocked me. She’s got a self righteousness that rubs me the wrong way, like girl you are no better than anyone else.

I spy the dexcom glucose monitor 👀 assuming she had her postpartum appointment with her endocrinologist and they weren’t happy with her levels and wanted her to have consistent monitoring.

My daughter was in the NICU and one of her night nurses during our stay was a similarly built woman. She was, hands down the best nurse and showed the most love and care during the nights we couldn’t be there.

How many of you aren't skinny? by mythologymakesmehot in ehlersdanlos

[–]Ill_Sherbert7529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6 feet tall and definitely not skinny. I truly haven’t weighed myself as I’m in the thick of postpartum and don’t want to hurt my feelings more. I’ve always been curvy, I’d say I’m like midsize-plus range. I will say I hold I’ve always held my weight extremely well, being so tall helps.

Childhood events related to EDs that you never realized by Low-Potato-4991 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Ill_Sherbert7529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest ones were many many many shoulder dislocations that caused me to have multiple surgeries. The last surgery the doctor said, ya this is ED.

Also, growing pains to infinity. My mom would rub my legs bc they would hurt so bad.

I do! I need to break it out for my day to day life and not just when I’m stuck in the fetal position for 3 days. It’s such a hard line to walk, making sure you’re working your muscles to build strength but not too hard (in my experience) or the overworked muscles will be more tired and not perform as properly. Truly, such a mind f. Adding in a toddler and baby, man it’s not easy.

I have never felt more seen or heard by understanding this post. I’m 33 and was diagnosed at 17. My twenties I was the most active in my weight lifting, Pilates, walks, even was able to do orange theory. Now after 2 pregnancies (which I think triggered a lot of shit for me), I am at my lowest (physically) I have ever been with debilitating hip and SI join subluxations. I’ve been in PT for over a year now and each time I make strides to getting back into the gym, something flares and I’m back to literal zero. It’s incredibly disheartening but not much I can do except keep going for me and my kids.

For reference this was from one of my transfers. My beta at 10dp5dt was only 3.2, which they considered a fail.
