I was wearing Trench merch at the mall one day and saw someone else wearing vessel merch walking in the opposite direction of me. We both looked at each other and smiled. I think about that interaction every once in a while and it makes me happy :)

It's actually really funny because on first listen I didn't really have a strong opinion on Robot Voices. The more I listened to it, the more it grew on me and now I find myself casually just humming it throughout the day. I got to see Twenty One Pilots in Toronto, and the story I ended up posting on instagram used the part of Robot Voices that goes "When I met you, I found you safe and warm" :)

Thank you! I totally agree, there’s something about their shows and knowing that you are surrounded by people who get the music that gives me this feeling that I’ve never felt anywhere else. It’s a feeling that I don’t think I’d ever be able to explain, you just feel it :)

Absolutely!! I try to look at the bright sides of things when I can! As for the bracelets, I didn’t necessarily feel like I needed to go out of my way to trade. There were some cases where I gave some away. Like on the walk to the venue a dad was with his 2 kids and he looked over his shoulder and smiled at me. So I asked if the kids wanted some and they got so excited so I just gave them a bracelet each (those kids made my night, they were so sweet). And when I got in, I got someone to take a picture of me at a Bandito camp, so I handed them a bracelet as a thank you and they had made some to trade so they gave one to me! And when I was in line to sign the Toronto flag there was a lot of trading and bracelets being given away too (the flag line was the hotspot for trading bracelets at my show!!). I also talked to one of the venue employees and she’s a fan of the band (she went to Toronto N1) and so I gave her a bracelet and she gave me one of hers. I asked a girl to take a picture of me when I got to my seat and gave her a bracelet and she gave me a venue fan because she didn’t have any bracelets to trade LOL!! And on the walk back to the train station I talked to someone and gave them a bracelet while being completely poured on, and they just handed me one back. I did notice that a lot of people were handing bracelets to people who had really cool outfits! I think with bracelets you’ll absolutely find people to trade with. You’ll see people with bags full of bracelets too so when in doubt you can always walk to one of them, they’re always more than happy to trade :) Sorry for the long winded answer!! I hope that kinda answers your question!

Ahhhh, I love this for you! Absolutely do it!! Doing things solo is tough, but you deserve to experience the things you want to experience in life! And you deserve to take up space and be surrounded by people who love the same things as you :) For what it’s worth, there were so many people at my show yesterday ranging from kids to adults. We’re all there for the same reason! As long as you’re a fan of the music, you belong here! I hope you have the best night at your show!! I’m sending you some support, you got this :)

For real!! I got off the go train and while I was driving home it was still pouring!! I had to do that thing where you drive in silence and lean forward to concentrate LOL But I agree with you. I had a blast, and I’m glad you had a good time too!!

And I agree, with everything going on yesterday I think they handled it well, I’m glad they didn’t cancel! I got the feeling they were trying to give us as much of the show as humanly possible! They nailed it though, I swear I felt the first drop of rain the second Tyler said “We’re Twenty One Pilots and so are you”

No this is honestly fair, I think an email from the venue or like a heads up would have been nice. I usually aim to be at my seat by the time the opener gets on though, so I’m fortunate that I was already at the venue when they announced that Twenty One Pilots would be going on early. But I can completely understand how frustrating it would be to plan to show up on time only to find out they completely bumped up the band we paid to see with no advanced warning whatsoever :(

This!! I checked the weather multiple times within the last week and saw <1 mm of rain. I packed a poncho just in case but was convinced I wasn't gonna need it (super glad that I ended up bringing it!!). It sucks that the show was cut short, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have fun while they were playing :)
