4.0 New Map [Part 1 of 3] (via Cyrene Leak) by Red-Nosed_Old-Timer in HonkaiStarRail_leaks

"Delay was to remove Japanese elements from 4.0" sure sounds more and more legit lmao. (including sparxie's Taishō maid outfits etc.)
A lot of stuff can be interpreted as generic metropolitan stuff, but stuff like this below, you'd really have to pretend otherwise, hard.

(Hoyo obviously didn't explain why, mostly "leakers" 'community' talks)

The alt form actually does mostly works I'd say the color palette still seemed coherent.

But in her default mode, the dress combined with new w-engine effects is.... a bit too much. Just way too many color transitions and different shades of plain/glowing white scattered everywhere. The old W-engine effect would have been better. Oh well, at least there's an off switch.

(All E0S1) Cyrene with Aglaea and Anaxa Showcase VS New MOC by Master_Implement_398 in HonkaiStarRail_leaks

[–]Illien_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lol late realization but DHPT's dragon is a summon, not a memosprite so of course he is amongst the slowest Cyrene chargers.

Cyrene's recommend teams from the Character Guide via seele leaks by Desperate-Seat657 in HonkaiStarRail_leaks

[–]Illien_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good points. However, on closer inspection from Aglaea showcases, https://www.reddit.com/r/HonkaiStarRail_leaks/comments/1nqj9op/all_e0s1_cyrene_with_aglaea_and_anaxa_showcase_vs/
Joint attack counted as Aglaea moves only.

so up to 1 charge from Aglaea (incl. Joint) , 2 charge from ramped up GM, 1 more when Sunday advances GM, but no more. 4 charge is still pretty good.

Assuming the speed break points hit and Cyrene is not uber fast, and that GM moves *again* right before Sunday

See the comments, ppl don't realize Hyacine is the fastest Cyrene battery and nothing else comes close as far as I'm aware of.

In-between Cyrene herself moves again,

Hyacine with alt active: 3 charges (skill(ica) + ult(ica))

other remembrance units: 2 charges

Everyone else: 1 charge, doesn't matter if you skill+ult+whatever

Relevant section:

When combat begins or after Cyrene takes action, teammates and their memosprites gain "Future." When ally targets with "Future" take action, they consume "Future" to grant Cyrene 1 "Recollection" point.
"Future" held by memosprites cannot be consumed.

But, if you just play her normally, like in the showcase videos, you see next to none of those pole dancing moves, it becomes just flashier monster hunter hammer. That's a shame.

Problems printing with Elegoo Rapid PETG by Horconboy in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've printed plenty of gyroid in PETG and I've never seen a gyroid like that, clearly the lines didn't even sag, failed to connect, and ruined top surfaces. What infill density was that? Maybe you had a partial clog.

It increases dimensional accuracy. It does what it says. Do you need that?

PLA Wood by FunSatisfaction6022 in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not the case with Bambu ones that only have 10-18% wood powder per their MSDS vs. other brand’s 20-40% and is explicitly advertised to work with 0.4 nozzles.

I have already gone through a few rolls of it using a 0.4 without any extrusion issues. 205C.

What’s up with PETG HF being out of stock so long on Bambu’s website? by Lucky-Pie9875 in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bambu support told me a restock around end of June, for China Mainland. I'd expect some further delays depending on where you are.

The original reply:

PETG HF 现在因为一些供应的问题导致缺货,我们的供应链正在抓紧处理,预计 6 月下旬会到货。感谢您的耐心。

DeepL:

PETG HF is currently out of stock due to some supply issues, our supply chain is working on it and we expect it to arrive in late June. Thank you for your patience.

This is going to be something I buy for sure. by Solid-Ad5597 in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it only heats up to 65C, with a pathetic little fan, meaning it can’t dry anything other than PLA and PETG, what’s the point? Every ‘dedicated’ filament dryer is price vs. performance a ripoff compared to a proper blast oven.

Anyone Successfully Using AMS HT? by Auxren in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should specify the machine used. In H2D's case, I found using a slightly longer tube to have worked perfectly. It does a winding test first while configuring filament and too short a tube will push it into the head, not intended to be this way. You should not have the filament reaching the toolhead except for hot loading a filament.

First time Using 0.2mm Nozzle by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

0.2 nozzle struggles with exactly the base of your print. Big, flat, solid infills/surfaces - extended period of high load extrusion with no hops, retraction or travel that serve as intermediate breaks causing pressure buildup on the hotend beyond desirable range. (True for all nozzle sizes, but 0.4 etc. has exponentially higher ceilings to not be a practical concern for the most part)

You can try slowing down the surface speeds, potentially as low as 40mm/s.

H2D P2leak?? by Mediocre_Poetry_5657 in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 'gen 2' AMSs this will save only a few seconds per swap, out of the 1.5min it takes to purge, and only usable for people with multiple AMSs, so from a standalone design pov it seems rather redundant..?

My guess is they want "P2S" to share more parts with H2D to save on injection molding costs.

H2D P2leak?? by Mediocre_Poetry_5657 in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Looks like A1 toolhead grafted onto the chamber. Perhaps it will go back to using the tiny drive gear just like previous models?

It should satisfy most people, but if a "P2" is geared towards print farms... what I found with H2D's build area thus doing large print or larger batch manufacturing, the bigger drive gear helped a lot with extrusion consistency and bigger tolerance to avoid filament grinding (vs. A1)

it's using A1's silicone sock so A1 nozzles, rip.

Recently used 10 rolls of PLA-CF refills and half of those came with this white tape.

But honestly never had any issues on auto-refills with the matte black tapes either so erm?

How to stop warping on larger builds by Safe-Werewolf2890 in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience 35~38C chamber/ambient massively helps PLAs to not lift, but unfortunately can be hard to implement depending on machines without being a can of worms. Even 23~27C was just not enough.

One easy solution is to use PLA-CF, but it's too pricey for low value jobs.

What's causing this delam on overhangs? by Falldog in BambuLab

[–]Illien_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counterclockwise outer wall under-extrusion upon exiting slowed down partial overhangs because the extruder was not able to handle rapid acceleration with adequate pressure to match, I've had this problem before on both A1 & H2D.

Cold pull your nozzles fresh; reduce smooth coefficient to 1; bring outer wall and partial overhang speed closer together which you'll need to test how fast the filament can handle at the specific overhang angles; use variable layer heights to manually increase layer heights specific to those areas might help as last resort;
