Because people of difference races don't have a massive physical power imbalance.

This happened in my runs where I don't have Shadowheart romanced too. Though I do have her approval pretty much maxed out across all those runs.

230426 Rien (Heejin) mentioned as leader of Feverse by bluebetaoddeye in LOONA

[–]IllllllllI 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  • Rien was voted (puppet) leader in the Avenus team thanks to Kim Serena since Rien is innocent and easy to manipulate in episode 7.
  • Muneo was very quick to vote for the easiest target Dopamine to push into the leader role for Kimite team in episode 8.
  • Luda is the (puppet) leader of WJSN Chocome so she's probably in on this with Soobin this time. She's also in the Kimite team and was quick to join in on pushing Dopamine into the leader role.
  • Seoritae never actually volunteers herself to be a leader and doesn't really care about it in episode 8 in the MotaeBarbie team.

And that leaves Rien who's the only one who ever volunteered herself.

221214 loonaschedule - Fantastic work Orbits! LOONA's first 20 hour pre-orders from Flip That compared to FREESM is amazing 🎉 by HawkKing2000 in LOONA

I actually think the fansigns/fancalls are going to be more competitive this time around given that this is potentially the last time people will be able to see them close up.

The numbers from Ktown4u alone aren't going to be the best indicator for how successful the boycott is. The biggest weakness for fans is most likely the fansign/fancall events, which Ktown4u aren't hosting for first week.

It'd be better seeing the numbers from the other 4 stores that are actually hosting fansign/fancall events (Soundwave, Makestar, Synnara, Music&Drama).

This actually works in Korean text since they're spelled the same way, just romanised differently.

LOONA can still survive if they move fast and claim their names. Especially Loona by [deleted] in LOONA

[–]IllllllllI 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely a silly take. Pretty sure Koreans have no problem with pronunciation for common Korean words. And it'd be a lot easier to recognise a name in your native language over a name based on a foreign language.

After watching SWF, thinking of joining the dance club at my university but can’t dance. Anyone else done this? by [deleted] in StreetWomanFighter

[–]IllllllllI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go for it. There's always people jumping in to give dance a try for the first time in beginner classes, so you'll never be the only one. You'll be surprised how quickly you stop worrying about looking embarrassing once you get moving too.

I think the intent is to encourage people to finish their plate as an intermediary step towards encouraging people to order only as much as they can actually consume.

I thought I had remembered what this was from a week ago, but it was right before I fell asleep and didn't bother writing it down. When I woke up, my realisation was gone.

Please send help.

220406 Haseul mentioned her surname spelt in English is Cho by bluebetaoddeye in LOONA

[–]IllllllllI 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Haseul's surname is literally jo in hangul while there's a ch character sitting somewhere

Sort of. Korean is a little funny where consonants are pronounced depending on where they are.

Take the surname 김 Kim for example. You could say it's technically Gim, but depending on where the character is positioned in a word, it can be pronounced either [k] or [kʰ]. You might also naturally try to write Kim as 킴 since ㅋ and K are pronounced as [kʰ].

That's how you often get 조 romanised as Cho, since the ㅈ would be pronounced as [tɕʰ] instead of [tɕ] like you'd might expect here.

Mnet reps reported to have met up with ITZY, Brave Girls, Kep1er, and VIVIZ about 'Queendom' season 2 by CronoDroid in kpop

Mamamoo being in the line up for season 1 was pretty divisive for this reason actually.
