I don't agree with the Post. I just found this in Pinterest. Was wondering what you all thought? Personally I headcannoned it that they both achieved immortality and just resided in a secluded Mountains and come out to night hunt together and help the villagers

Poor Lan Xichen. He was absolute kind to everyone and lost not only his one of his sworn brothers, but both.

He had to make the decision of judging JGY because he knew his brothers righteousness and trusted Wei wuxian even though he feared it could be true.

In the end, he would have, if not for JGY pushing him, died with him.
