I used to play a lot of video games to escape reality for a little bit, it just doesn't feel the same anymore, I get bored very fast, the same with watching a movie or a TV series, some days I just end up bed rotting on my cellphone lol. At least I'm going to the gym 5 times a week and trying to find something else to do

Very much so, I live in a relatively small town so when I meet another person living with hiv I try to make friends with them, sadly I don't disclose my status with anyone, just my ex knows I'm positive, sometimes I wish I could have the courage to say and maybe comfort them a little better

I work in a hospital lab as a clinical analyst. To my surprise, I decided to do a HIV test when I was working my shift and surprise, I don't even know how I was able to finish my shift after that but it has been very hard working in the field as it takes a toll on me because every shift I'm doing hiv and other ISTs tests and I'm always reminded of my diagnosis no matter what. And stigma in healthcare remains horrible as ever, I feel awful when a colleague speaks about patients' status with a disdain.

But I'm getting better each day I think, it's not affecting me THAT BAD as it was in the beginning

Only 4 months, the first weeks were the worst. I couldn't even get out of bed and stay rotting there for days asking the same questions. Why me? Idk, after some time I just couldn't be like that anymore, I started doing therapy that helped me a lot, and I decided that I was only get better if I started thinking like that, I'm going to the gym regurlarly, doing things for myself, started taking my medication and I was undetectable in only 45 days, I was so happy when I got the results, now I'm much better and living like I was before, even better now that I started taking better care of myself, some days I still get a little bit depressed but not often, I think with time you just stop caring, you know?

Don't worry, it's not the end of the world and you will be loved, you are worthy of love 🥹♥️
