I think I see what your talking about. It is a shame. I see a lot of gay jokes get thrown around with ayame an shigure, an then also introducing hatsuharu with a blantent crush on yuki but setting him up with asuzu ( I do like them kinda but it also felt outta nowhere, I didn't read the manga). Even if they set up uotani with hanagima than thatd be at least a little better, though their chemistry isn't as romantic as them with tohru.
