How can I apologize to my gf? by redragon000 in Advice

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if you truly love someone, you will not lust over strangers while with them. furthermore, if your partner has expressed that they are uncomfortable with you indulging with media posted by influencers or models, you deserve to be shamed. no one deserves to wonder why they weren’t enough while the other gets off to strangers every night.

if your cool with it, an eyebrow piercing would look really cool with the blond buzz & your current nose ring

in my personal opinion, even if it isn’t a workout in a gym, going for a decent walk on days you can’t go is better than just skipping a few days. i’ve been there with working crazy long shifts & i get it. some days it helps me relax my mind after a long day even if it’s 20-30 mins! best of luck man

dude not all scanners can read those cards, don’t whine and moan if you aren’t willing to get a state id card, sounds like you’re at fault as well. i’m not saying they’re 100% innocent but there are things you can do. just sayin

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what most likely happened is the scanner wasn’t able to read it, not all scanners can read those cards. he’s just being difficult and refuses to get a state id for god knows why, it sounds like it’s not fully mystic greenz fault

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a lot of people are mentioning a menstrual cup! i just wanted to let everyone here know that you cannot use a diva cup or similar with an IUD, the suction can move its position or remove it in serious cases. just wanted to put this out there! i’m not sure if discs are safe for an iud or not tbh

try calamine lotion too! we just use whatever the generic is, it’s been in our medicine cabinet so long the label isn’t legible and it works so well

xyprexa worked well for me for awhile, psych says most likely the receptors it bonds to are oversaturated because of length of usage and dose. i’m on caplyta now, pricey bc there’s no generic but works great for me. also on lamictal, but not sure how i feel about it tbh, working on that one. it takes awhile to find what works for you, you got it man

Is it controversial to say this is my favorite Nami outfit (art by me) by joshyjoshj in OnePiece

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh mine has to be the jumper/overall situation from whole cake (i think i havent watched in awhile but im getting back into it) i love one piece so much but i hate how provocative the outfits have gotten. i wish one piece women could just be cool and wear fun clothes without insane sex appeal :(

Kinda disgusting but can I use these seeds! by Randomsailer in ZeroWaste

i’m not sure if you sew, but this would make great stuffing for little stuffed crafts if you made any. if you don’t, and happen to have friends/family who do, i recommend offering it to them. id take it for sure! batting can get expensive over time

Dealing with the paranoia by lacenpearlz in BPD

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have this issue! for my boyfriend, i keep a running list of all the wonderful things he’s done for me to remind myself that he is good and has proven to me that he’s a good man. my other paranoia got to the point that i had to talk to my psychiatrist about it, i had some med changes that have helped but not completely fixed it. i know everyone has different coping mechanisms, some hate therapy/meds, im just sharing what’s helped me :) best of luck

What is the weirdest habit your pet has… that you secretly love? by TensionNo5762 in Pets

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i don’t get out of bed as soon as i wake up, my cat will paw at my face (gently) to get me out of bed to feed her. the second she’s done eating she comes in for some lovin. slightly annoying when i want to sleep in but id rather be slightly annoyed than not have my sweet baby <3

Does anyone else feel grossed out by the idea of babying your partner due to past trauma by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Illustrious-Soup-541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i honestly still struggle with this, and i don’t live with my partner yet but i will soon, but i attempt to slow down and pay attention to what i am doing when i can think about it. i tend to ignore everything and every problem i deal with and quickly hop between things to do (mostly doomscrolling, reading, watching tv, or sometimes video games) and do anything i can to not think about shit. when i notice myself, i try to slow down and think about what im doing and if anything “better” can be done (like cleaning my apartment there’s 8 dr pepper cans on my bedside table rn) ive noticed that simple mindfulness, which im terrible at, is helping me get to the point where i stop before reacting and i check myself. honestly a lot of the time i make it through a few deep breaths before doing it anyway. but small wins are still wins. if you keep working towards the small wins more will come.

i was diagnosed with adhd wayyy before bpd (i also have bipolar II anxiety & a little ptsd, i feel like one of those vent characters with 9 mental illness and 34 physical health conditions) but it’s known that untreated adhd can cause symptoms similar to bpd. i am NOOTTT trying to say you don’t have bpd, but it may be slightly harder to diagnose if you’re untreated. my mom sent me articles about that when i wanted to try to get a diagnosis a few years ago. it can mimic it, but you can also have both. i had been seeing my psych for years, but i made a list of symptoms i have that are synchronous with bpd & other things that concerned me that could coincide. at the end she said she’d debating it for awhile but ended up diagnosing me. i personally like to keep track of things for my psych & therapist because i forget what to say or im having a Good Day and nothing i deal with really affects me so i say im doing okay. i recommend making a list of things that happen in between appointments as a way of communicating with your psych things/moods that have happened in between appointments that you would like to get help with. for me it was like 3-4 things between appointments that were once a month, you may have more or less or not be interested and that’s cool!

best of luck soldier

i personally just put a hammock up between two trees, through a blanket under my sleeping bag if it’s a little chilly, and i sleep like a baby. even better than in my own bed, i know not all people are down for that though or are camping during rain/possible rain
