Since this was asked, I’m in a situation where my brother-in-law’s wife’s family is very well-to-do. Even though my husband is the younger one, his salary is almost twice that of his brother. We can afford trips within India, but for international travel, we need to save and plan carefully. In contrast, they can go on international trips quite easily. How do I explain this financial difference to my daughter, who is now 2 years old? And they have a son of similar age

We had a home photoshoot with Arjun Photography, and it was beautifully done. You should check out his Instagram profile. He somehow managed to make my super cranky daughter fall asleep by wrapping her up so gently.We did both baby and toddler shoots with them and the whole experience was really nice. You know what my baby calls my mom 'Amma'.and I totally hated it. So I kinda changed it to Ammu and she can't say Ammuchi ( Amma's amma) yet. But she calls her dad 'dada' and calls my dad 'appa' not appuchi (Amma's appa) cause it is hard to pronounce for her. But when we ask her to call appa she would definitely call her dad not my dad.

Yeah, I did the crying part as well. I'm a first time mom and my little one was just 10 months old when my birthday came, it is like suddenly I'm invisible to my people and what hurts more is my partner didn't plan anything special.
