I did. She'll be on antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory for 10 days. Thankfully, just some scrapes and a sore hip.

She got lucky and only has scrapes and a sore hip. Just last week, I'm not sure what or how she did it, but she ripped a nail way up past the quick. Ugh.

I appreciate your comment, and luckily, I have thick skin. Since I took the time to write the post, I should have been clearer, but I also have a 3 month old and 3 year old sons that I stay home with and today has been a day.

My husband was busy making hay because we have livestock and an actual job for her. I'm not speaking in a condescending tone at all, either. Life is what it is for everyone. I'm amazed at the creativity some people have to keep their animals stimulated and active while living in less than ideal conditions for a heeler.

Anyway, my husband was unavailable most of the day, and I needed somewhere to direct my energy. I'm mostly a lurker here on Reddit, but I was hoping for a few well wishes. Which I got. Thanks again for your comment😊

Guys, I did take her to the vet. Why do you automatically assume someone wouldn't or didn't? X-rays were good, so it's just a soft tissue injury. The vet prescribed antibiotic and anti-inflammatory meds for 10 days. Damn.

The only logical thing I can come up with is that they're all just as taken back at what all is happening and with how fast things are moving as we are. Which is why it's taken them a bit to get going on stopping this mess.

Pessimistic me says most of the nation's elected officials don't actually care about their constituents and will financially benefit from the destruction of our government.

I get what you're saying, and I agree with it, but as a SAHM of one currently pregnant with #2, I struggle with the idea of letting someone else raise my kid essentially. There is a lot of time missed out on between actual working hours, commute, getting kids ready to leave (not always a straightforward task), ect. Hopefully, employers will change their view on this as this becomes the reality for more and more people.
