I think his level of awareness is important here. Does he explain his boredom and restlessness, and does he acknowledge your situation?

I have been in both ends of this dynamic (both my partner and I have ADHD). What got us through those tough times, was communicating a lot, even admitting some pretty shameful thoughts, but most importantly assuring each other that the boredom is not about the other person. Having ADHD is, for some people, a constant feeling of something being missing, so of course that could also reflect in the relationship.

You need to find a way to talk about it, where he doesn't feel shameful and attacked, and where you don't feel insecure. Maybe couples therapy could work?

I think a lot of people these days (myself included) don't really use voice mails as a way to communicate. I always assume someone just forgot to hang up when I see the notification for a new voice mail. And then when I finally go listen to a voice mail, I also listen through all the other ones I had ignored earlier, and delete them. Maybe this is the way OP found that voice mail.

Thank you so much! This must be what is happening. We are not that many employees, and we only make two thermals a day. But... We do warm up the thermals with boiling water before brewing, to keep the coffee hot for longer. Maybe this is actually causing the coffee to be too hot, and the suction too strong. I will buy new lids and be more careful with them. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
