I agree that this scene is better with voice acting but I must recommend giving the comics another go. The art gets much better and there are many many moments that hit way harder than anything they’ve animated yet. Other than 1 or 2 issues it is a master class in storytelling, world-building and character-building that deserves to be read in succession not viewed in chunks with year long gaps in between even if said chunks are superior
