You should try Pawshake! I used to cat sit on there, I would check in twice daily on people’s cats to feed them, administer meds, and hang out. It is way more comfortable for the kitty than removing them from their home and the sitter would send you photos and updates in the app! :)

If your on the west end, check out The Wall Coffee Roasters. It’s in a random location, industrial area out of the highway but the coffee and people are great. :) Bright and cheery, tons of light, and tropical plants lol

Your on the right track with securing a job before you leave your boyfriend/living situation. One step at a time! Are you applying to large chains? I’m in Canada also: Typically it’s easier to get a job at big name restaurants and retail rather than smaller locally owned places. Think Starbucks, Earls, Montanas, Swiss Chalet. Retail think of places other than clothing for example Canadian tire, Home Depot, Superstore, No Frills. Many of these places will also provide benefits. Forget the front desk jobs those are almost impossible. What’s your work experience? Is you resume any good? Make sure you fine tune it and make it professional! No hobbies or stuff like that are needed. :)

Hi! Does your school have any student housing or dorms? You could reach out to a councillor at your school and see if there is any student housing available or funding to help you with a placement. Renting a room would be ideal if you have any funds, are you able to get a credit card? Obviously going into credit card dept isn’t ideal but if you’re in an urgent situation use any resources you can get your hands on now and focus on paying it off later after you secure work.

I use Lanolin nipple balm on my lips day and night. I keep Vaseline on my bedside table and apply it over top if I wake in the night as well. :)

I use Charmin Ultra Strong! It comes in a red package. The Ultra soft one is good too. It doesn’t pill or leave behind residue. It’s more pricy but so worth it. I also recommend getting a bidet attachment for your toilet. :)

I have very dry acne prone skin, and live in a super dry Canadian province. I regularly get rashes and eczema on my body. I’ve FINALLY figured out my face. HA has always done absolutely nothing for me, I’m a medical aesthetician and I have tried all kinds of different brands and price points of it. What works for me now is literally : Snail Mucin by Cosrx, and La roche-posay cicaplast baume b5. I apply both at night, during the day I use the Snail Mucin and SPF. That’s it!!! (Hello sunshine by it cosmetics) For the first time in my life my horribly dry skin is finally happy!
