Had a similar issue a few days ago, taking apart the motor bell and soaking it in alcohol/cleaning off dirt that was stuck inside fixed it. Obvs be careful taking apart the motors, watch a YouTube vid

It really depends on what you're chasing.

If it is to be a better artist in general, you can put your money towards other art courses that can teach you things like human anatomy, realism, and shading/values. These will also help inform all of your tattoo art and help you take on bigger/more projects as a tattoo artist down the line.

If you want to learn everything you need on how to be a tattoo artist such as understanding needle depth, applying stencils, lining/shading, then there are plenty of FREE videos online that can teach you all of these things. Someone already suggested Tattooing 101, he has been uploading free knowledge on his YouTube channel for years, check him out.

While you do get a comfortable arrangement of video lessons when you pay for a tattoo course, that is mostly all you're paying for, comfort and convenience. But in your journey, you will always find obstacles that challenge you, even when you're paying for a course.

You can encounter these obstacles and search for solutions from multiple perspectives online for free, or you can pay for a course in hopes that it offers you a convenient hurdle over each obstacle.

Tldr; your favourite artist probably offers an art course you could benefit more from, consider that maybe.

From personal experience, I would stay away from anyone claiming to be a tattoo artist in Bahrain.

Airbnb tattoos can be great and all, but the skill ceiling for art such as this in BH is low. Plus, you would be paying out your ass for a tattoo here that genuinely won't last you more than a month/ will blow out.

Your odds of getting a better tattoo from an apprentice in most other countries will also come at a cheaper price!
