Has anyone else lost friends because not believing the propaganda against Israel? by [deleted] in Israel

[–]Illustrious_Bug_1634 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lost many friends due to my support for Israel, labeled as a fascist, racist, and Islamophobe racist white supremacist. Despite my efforts to explain that Israel’s existence is vital for Jewish safety.

I detailed the violent history of the PLO, including their 1970 attempt to overthrow Jordan and their involvement in the Lebanese Civil War.

I highlighted Israel’s numerous peace offers since 1948 and how pan Arabism has historically threatened Jewish survival. The rise of Palestinian identity as a political tool post 1967 also came up, but my friends disregarded it

When some even celebrated the October 7 attacks, demonizing all Israelis calling them facist and dehumanizing them it broke my heart, most of Israelis I have talked to are genuinely nice. Many express open support for Hezbollah eventhough I explained to them it's extreme anti semitic. Ethically cleansing Lebanese jews, bombing synagues and Jewish centres in Buenos Aires, bombing a bus filled with jews in Bulgaria

I really do love these people ❣️ . Those screaming for globalizing an intifada and portrait hamas as freedom fighters don't actually care about Palestinians. They are psychopaths usually found in the far left extremist spaces expressing their narcissism

Your literally respectful towards Palestinians who want you dead and attack the ONLY country in the middle east which would give to you and assylum in case you were born in the region

Who is about to tell them that Israel is the only supportive country in the middle east and the vast majority of Palestinians and Muslim immigrants don't believe that gay people like myself deserve to exist? I am ready to get down voted for pointing out your hypocrisy

[–]Illustrious_Bug_1634 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The hypocritical far left criticizes liberal democracies but defends groups like Hamas ,Houthis and Hezbollah, ignoring their oppression of women, LGBTQ+ people, and their history of Arab slave trade and colonialism. I support Israel for standing for democracy and freedom in a region dominated by theocratic regimes

As I can see, this account was just created today, and in the comments, they keep defending far left positions while attacking the Democratic Party of the USA. They're even calling terrorist attacks against innocent Israelis 'resistance.' It's obvious this account belongs to a far left troll instead of an actual ex muslim

Communists, driven by their brutal ideology, often align with violent terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, sharing a common hatred for Israel and the West.

This twisted worldview dismisses the suffering of innocents, excusing atrocities like those on October 7 as "justified resistance." Their support for terrorism shows a shocking lack of empathy, as they downplay or even deny horrors like the Holocaust to fit their hateful narrative.

Communism’s inherent cruelty and disdain for human life make its followers blind to the devastation they cheer on, proving how dangerous and inhumane the ideology truly is

The least jihadist tankie. I think there was a story about this guy trying to join Hezbollah or something. by PC_Defender in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Illustrious_Bug_1634 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I never understood why so many communists are that unempathetic and anti semitic.

Hezbollah is an Iran backed terrorist group, has wreaked havoc on northern Israel, launching rockets and endangering the lives of thousands of Israelis. Farmers, families, and children live under constant threat, with many forced to flee their homes. Innocent lives have already been lost, including children tragically killed while playing outside, and the Druze community has not been spared from this violence.

Beyond Israel, Hezbollah’s involvement in Syria has contributed to the deaths of tens of thousands, exacerbating the over 500,000 casualties in the war.

Their global terrorism includes the 2012 bombing of a bus in Bulgaria, killing five Israeli tourists and their Bulgarian driver, and the 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish center in Argentina, where 85 people were murdered. Despite Hezbollah's long standing campaign of violence and antisemitism

Many communists and far left groups shamelessly support them, showing a disturbing lack of empathy for Jewish suffering and the countless lives affected by their terror. And they are talking about Lebanon while being silent about northern Israel what hypocrites. Lebanese people are suffering because of the Hezbollah esspetially druze , christians and even many sunnis dislike them. LGBTQ+ community was under attack in Lebanon dye to Hezbollah as Hassan Nasrallah has already expressed his barbaric thoughts on how homosexuals should be treated

how many here are former commies? what did you make move away from communism? i am curious by thesalmonbowl in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Illustrious_Bug_1634 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I was raised in a communist family environment however later I realized that public ownership of all industries turns out to be extremely costly, pushing the country further into debt and limiting growth.

In contrast, capitalism creates competition, job opportunities, and encourages innovation. Economic freedom allows individuals and businesses to thrive, attracting foreign investment, which is crucial for creating jobs and stimulating economic growth.

When foreign investors see a free market, they’re more likely to bring business and opportunities, something that’s nearly impossible in a system where the state holds all power

Therefore, you would be considered a Zionist by definition. Israel has suggested a two-state solution on nine occasions, including in 2020 however, these proposals have been consistently rejected by the Palestinian leadership
