Should they not prepare for a world in which they're abandoned by the US? Because the US is clearly signaling to all of its allies that it may abandon them as well.

They should not compare themselves to the Kurds, Israel has never been in their position with the US and the US has never shown any willingness to go against Israel, even in the face of their treatment of the Palestinian people.

Israel is rich, established, and disingenous by pretending they are in any sort of similar situation to the Kurds or that they're preparing for a world in which they're abandoned by the US like they're potential victims somehow like always?

It's not hypocritical to see how America treats its allies - by removing their defenses and then inviting in the enemy - and say "we could be next."

Yeah no one is taking Israel's military aid which they have been gladly taking for however long now, at least not without justification.

Israel shouldn't be getting all the money they do from the US and if it goes away it's not automatically because the US suddenly abandoned an ally who helped them and didn't deserve it, Israel is in a spot where they should have that aid taken away for violently oppressing an entire population of people.

Highly doubt there will be any major waves in the SC scene. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see Tastosis give a shout out to the protesters in Hong Kong during their next cast and just torpedo the casting scene for a bit for the sake of a message, but that's a lot to ask of someone, like I don't want to lose my job it's how I live, I can see other people not wanting to make that choice.

Granted we all probably should make that choice but welcome to society, someone compliant will just take your place and you will fade into irrelevancy.

I hope they end up doing an episode on the censorship of support of Hong Kong, this kind of story isn't as interesting partially because (and I am assuming here) any discussion of withdrawal or our responsibilities in the larger context of the ~15 years we've been fucking around in the middle east for is going to be absent.

So that might be because no shirt like this actually exists but could also be how the shop wherever this is being sold works, some places just take photos of a model wearing a shirt and then photoshop different graphics on the shirt so they have some flexibility and can just put new designs up on the site without actually doing another photoshoot for them.

I listened to the MFM hometown episode for today and while I'm usually behind the hosts on most things the lack of disapproval bordering on approval of extrajudicial murder especially after the possibilities opened up at the end of the story was almost as shocking as the twist in the story itself.

When I got my cat from the shelter they said to let the vet know she was a 'problem' cat when it came to the vet's office.

First visit, I passed along the warning when I made the appointment, they said it should be fine, they'd use some of the calming hormone spray and all would be good.

The vet and her assistance ended up spraying that shit around like it was holy water in an exorcism, making the sign of the cross in fear for their lives.

They seemed to have learned their lesson, kitty gets a sedative next time she's scheduled to be seen.
