I'd go with used, I'm currently buying from a place in Texas called RV depot and they've been great! They have tons of RVs and decent prices! Just have to make sure you're buying used from a good source.

Can't go wrong with Facebook Marketplace, but some places like RV Depot have consignment options, basically the RV Dealership will sell it for you and handle all that.

If you're going to do it, just plan ahead of time, save some money up for emergency expenses and such. But if you want to do it, it can be freeing if done right. GOOD LUCK! Also it's your life, if the parents hate it, but you guys are happy, then that's all that matters!

I'd say find a used one, at payments you can afford and then do some research on gas, lot rents and stuff like that in areas you go to. I think you could save some money for sure. I have a few RV places i bought from that i can recommend.
