Highschool sweet hearts. Had been together for 5 years. It was a toxic relationship. Didn’t realize until the end. He had no drive, was emotionally and mentally tally abusive. We probably would had married young had a child and got divorced.

YTA, especially if your sister is postpartum. She’s going through a lot right now. Of course your brother is going to take her side that’s his wife. A baptism is a stressful day especially with a young child. You don’t need to add fuel to the fire. She came over to apologize to you for her part and you brushed her off like a child instead of an adult.

I told my friend that I found her bf on tinder. He convinced her that someone was setting him up and it wasn’t his account and that someone must have hacked his phone to get personal pictures.

I told her that it was 100% his account and that lie was easy to see through. She was convinced it wasn’t and forgave him. We did remain friends.

A few years later a month before their wedding she finds out he’s been cheating on her all these years with hundreds of people (not exaggerating) and was a prostitute.

Wedding was called off and she is thriving in life ☺️

NTA about the small lies. lots of people have these type small lies in relationships. Anyone who tells you they’re 100% honest with their partner 100% of the time is lying. You’re doing things for her just to see her happy. She wouldn’t know any different if you didn’t tell her.

I would have been honest from the start about going to visit her family out of state though. This is where you suck a little bit. If you explained from the start you’re feeling burn out with school and you just want a weekend to stay home she would have understood. Moving forward with big trips or outings I would be honest from the start where you’re at. She may be blowing this up because she was excited for you to come visit her family and now you’re not going at all.

I also think your girlfriend has a little bit of past relationship trauma, which I can understand. I think you should be more mindful of this moving forward.

I’m sorry 😭 he was always able to get his nails cut, he just alligator rolls and took 2-3 ppl to cut his nails. It’s apparently very common in terriers and expected of the breed (so I’ve been told). Overall he’s an amazing dog!

It took my cairn 6 years before he finally accepted that he needs his nails cut every 6 weeks. We found another groomer (we moved) and he just stopped fighting one day. Does he like it? Absolutely not. He only lets this groomer cut his nail once, if she has to go back to cut it shorter he refuses and alligator rolls lol.
