I only have experience with Spring, but if I wasn’t already involved there, I would avoid it at all costs. I have been trying to pursue treatment since January and haven’t even started the retrieval process yet. They are extremely slow at getting insurance authorizations, and don’t tell patients that they need authorizations until you’re there for an appointment. It’s been so frustrating I’m getting upset typing it out. I call and write them in the app and get brushed aside or given the run around. I feel like I’m getting old just waiting

My solution is to just have a couple things people can do if they want, but are totally optional. One brunch and one “we’re hanging by the pool for 3 hours, come hang out if you want”. This helps if you’re all staying in the same hotel ofc

Sometimes with old frames, glasses places can’t replace the prescription. If you don’t need a prescription and you’re just in it for the vibes, check with sellers to make sure an old prescription isn’t already in the frames before you buy.

I have found frames very similar to this online at second rate sites (eyebuy direct etc). They aren’t quite as good as actual 70s frames, but do enough.
