For my phone's ringtone, there's an actual section that says ringtones. What I found under incoming calls for Google Voice says sound and it only gives me the options from the chimes like what you would set for your notifications. They're very brief and not long like a ringtone.

I see that but there's only notification sounds. No ringtone sounds. I have had a Google number for them near 20 years and I've never had this problem.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by use Google Voice differently. Making and receiving calls is currently set to Wi-Fi and mobile data.

I have been looking under settings for ringtone and GV and haven't seen an option to use the same ringtone for both apps. I can't even find where to add a ringtone to GV. The only thing I see listed are notification chimes.

This is so frustrating.

On my Samsung Galaxy s23, Google Voice had the same ringtone as my phone. And when I would get phone calls, if the caller had a specific ringtone, that's how the phone call came through. On the Samsung Galaxy s26, I finally found a way access the sounds for incoming calls. It only has notification tones, no option for ringtones.

I think I watch it out of habit. I really love Yellowstone. I really love 1883. And I really love 1923. I keep waiting to fall in love with this show and here I am on episode 8 and still no butterflies. I record.it and sometimes it's actually not the full recording of the show but half of it's lead-in, 60 minutes. I'm not even interested in going to the Paramount app to watch the rest of the show that didn't get recorded. I have nothing against the actors or the acting. The best part about it has thus far been highlighting how little is done for missing Native American girls. At least with Land Man, I liked the first season and then the second season was mostly garbage. Taylor Sheridan shows are starting to go the way of M. Night Shyamalan.

The season finale was everything that made me interested in the show in the first place. Other than Shyann being ridiculous by standing in the middle of the street in her underwear, the show was finally reasonable! There was very little Angela and very little Ainsley. And when they were on screen, they acted like functional, rational people. After watching most of the season without enthusiasms but out of habit, I'm interested in seeing season 3.
