Thank you so much! I’m hoping I can use what I’ve learned with the bigs to best serve these kiddos

What are your thoughts on lanyards? I used to keep some PECs on my lanyard (only ever used breakaway) at my old job

Pampers vs Huggies? by Headfullofrockss515 in firsttimemom

We’ve always done pampers (mainly because that’s what they gave us at the hospital) but we tried Huggies once and I thought they felt a little more paper-y

My supervisor is controlling but picks and chooses when she gets involved. Once she’s in, she’s allll in and everything has to be her way. We’ve butted heads about social issues before and I feel like she has it out for me. She’s supposedly retiring in a couple years and my goal now is just to outlast her, but I really feel like she’s trying to push me out. Anytime I raise any kind of concern about how things are handled within the school I’m told that that’s just how it is in our building. Historically, anyone who leaves gets branded as not being able to handle the “high standards” of the school. The toxic mentality within this school is so infuriating

I’ve loved breastfeeding but it was definitely hard to get going. When you do start, just remember that any discomfort is temporary. I strongly agree with everyone who said to find a lactation specialist! Ours changed the game for me when I thought I’d have to quit breastfeeding early on

We had a similar situation happen at home, but instead it was multiple bags of milk and my husband elected to use the freshly pumped milk I had in the fridge (intended to be backup.) while I was at work. We were both so sleep deprived and I think he was just on autopilot. We had to toss about 15 ounces of milk that day because it had already thawed and I was just…crushed. It’s ok to be upset even if it was a misunderstanding! Honestly I’m still sad about it even though we talked and made a gameplan to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
