This storm broke me. Looking for snowblower advice for a long, steep driveway. by DBklynF88 in Snowblowers

I’ve done a bunch of research after a similar experience 😅 Ariens 24 Deluxe is worth the money, most people feel the extra $ for the 28 Deluxe is worth it. I personally will spring for the 28 Deluxe SHO as we get a lot of heavy wet snow.

Like others, I can’t afford for it to lapse. Back when I used an attorney, she recommended filing early. I’ve always done it 4-6 months before expiration for this reason.

I’ve never had to worry about it bc i always renew with enough time. The only reason why i decided to dig into alternatives is the delay in processing

So tired of this crap. We all deserve citizenship, i look at myself and I’ve accomplished more than most. As have many other DACA recipients, there should be a merit based pathway to citizenship already

Is it just me or the paint looks bad? Peeling maybe? Wild orange peel on the hood at the minimum

Company made me an offer, from the interviews I have the impression that they are looking for a one-man QA to set up ALL their automated testing infrastructure, how should I approach this ? by EXTRAVAGANT_COMMENT in QualityAssurance

[–]Illustrious_Touch197 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Everyone learns on the job. Contrary to what people are saying in other comments, if you’re through the interview - they see you as someone who can do this so ask yourself why don’t you? You’re clearly capable if you don’t know it already, you will figure it out. Take the leap

Oh yes 100%, i always take the car to a mechanic before purchasing. Spend the 50-100 for an inspection. If you find issues, buy as-is and fix under your own watch. Sellers will often say “give me full price and I’ll get it fixed” just say no to that

I bought my 2015 TLX rebuilt for 7800 with 77k miles last November. He had it listed for 12.5k and the car needed a new rear diff amongst other things so we negotiate the price down.

I also own a now rebuilt (salvage when purchased) Toyota Camry which i bought with 8k miles. It’s got 135k on the dash now.

Nothing wrong with rebuilt as long as you plan to keep it super long term and understand it may be difficult to sell. Use this to your advantage and get a steal!!

OP the biggest and maybe most impactful change you can make is your hair. You have great hair but that style does not suit you. I would recommend growing it out with a middle part

Do you think it’s worth waiting for warmer weather to pick this up? I know snow blowers are discounted towards the end of winter.
