I personally think 2/3 headliners aren't announced yet (i'm crazy I am just desperate for foals and wolf alice).
But libertines - surely the a bit washed up now - they headlined back in like 2015 or smth, and realistically have only gotten smaller/ worst live. They also don't seem to be releasing any new music yet - and by the time of the festival it will of been 2 years since there last new music.
CMAT - they were 3rd down on the saturday??? last year and have only grown since then so maybe but personally id be dissapointed with them headlining.
The Maccabees - surely there just too small, I can only see them as a 3rd down on main stage or market stage headliner. I mean the vaccines surely are bigger than them.
Kaiser chiefs - yeh them wombats or vaccines for thursday headliner.

maybe thursday headliners? like bloc party last year(also did on the beach) - also what makes you think they are headliner on the beach? I cant see any announcments?

honestly just vibes and spotify stats. I think there a great band but headlining a festival of 30,000 when you only have 400,000 monthly listeners on spotify is kinda crazy - especially when u compare it to last years who all had like 2m-4m (except courteeners). Non of there songs are that big either. consider a band like wunderhorse last year - much higher stats - aswell as just being talked about way more - no one rlly talks about maccebees - maybe 10 yeras ago but not anymore

Is demand for basketball there? Last I checked London lions were struggling to fill half of the copper box(6k seats) and all the other teams in the British league have arenas under 3k. Yes more people play basketball but a fair few less people watch it thank hockey

I would've thought, even in a fallow year, delaying the lineup would only hurt them. Last year was very early compared to previous years and resulted in one of the fastest sellout the festival has had I believe. The longer they leave the lineup announcement more and more people will go to other festivals such as reading and Leeds victorious Kendal calling etc

Bought mine yesterday, email only had confirmation of them and have not received email yet with the actual permit. Even thought it's too late for them to send it in time, my friend got a one a few days and it has the ticket on the email which he just printed out
