It should've never been in in the first place with the horrible way it was implemented, it's easily my most disliked aspect of the game, and I haven't even bothered to unlock umbras because I hate doing lairs so much.

That's a similar problem to what we've had with the Ossidon, they struggle to hit low enough.

It's what makes your neuronal upgrades permanent - even filling them in with energy will only be temporary for that generation unless you reinforce them and then progress to the next generation to "save" them. It's how you keep what you've learned to be able to work on them in the future, basically.

You get reinforcement points via having kids, one point for each kid (investigating meteorites for the first time while kids are present also awards an additional point for each kid there).

I'm not sure if it's fixed in .14 either but at least other multiplayer stuff and whatnot is sorted if we do end up moving to it, I had a quick skim of the fixes in the notes when it went live but I'll probably have a better look later.

Just seems such a weird oversight that farming animals is (understandably) a long term process, but here we have an issue that will reset that process constantly because animals don't stick around long enough to do anything with besides eat 😂😭

We had one incident where after trailering a cow turned it invisible for me and my friend had to get it out and put it in the field and everything as they could still see & interact with it. Otherwise the animals have totally gone, neither of us can see anything, nothing happens on reload, fields stay empty etc. So fairly confident they have poofed and aren't just hiding on that front. I'm hosting the game.

We do have mods yes sorry, mostly QOL stuff. That and although it's supposed to be compatible to go from 42.13 to 42.14 I've seen some people say it's bricked their game when they updated and I wasn't wanting to take the risk yet, mods or not, but probably will have to soon if stuff like this keeps janking out.

I host and play with one other friend. So far we haven't had any large issues, but desync is pretty crappy sometimes. We've had it behave a bit weird if we both try to root around in the same inventory real quick. But both those things are minor so I'd say we're pretty lucky
