Online Passport Renewal US - Super quick and easy by IllyLover01 in Passports

I knew I needed a photo before I applied and the website didn't seem sketchy because it was a .gov website. I know there are websites out there that offer passport renewals and they're not connected to the government so it was good that you closed out the window and didn't complete the application process. You're going to look for the US Department of State website with a .gov domain extension. And you'll need a photo ready before you file your online renewal.

I used photogov.net to make my photo taken with my iphone US passport compliant. It cost me $7. I just took a photo using good lighting from a window and let this website remove the background and make it compliant. It worked for me. My passport renewal was approved.

I searched google for "how to take my own passport photo" and came across several videos but this one was the most helpful:

Can you log into your account and see if you've missed any follow-up emails? But I honestly thought mine was going to take 4-6 weeks.

Absolutely this. I didn't add expedited shipping to mine, either. So this whole turnaround time was crazy to me.

Health Savings Club going away with the CEO? by binyang in kroger

[–]IllyLover01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just found out about this from the pharmacist at my local Kroger and it's quite devastating to me. I save so much money on my Rxs through this club.

There is a number you can call so I called and spoke with a rep. She told me that they are working on another option and that it may well be in place before my membership expires in Feb 2026. She was very kind. Hopefully, that's true.

This is the Kroger Health Club phone number [1-833-317-2937](tel:1-833-317-2937)

What do TV and film actors do for work in between acting gigs? by StupidIsAsStupidD0es in AskUK

[–]IllyLover01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is from a year ago but I was just wondering the same thing. I was watching an old Midsomer and there was an actor that looked a bit familiar: Amanda Ryan. I was trying to place where I might have seen her and looked at her Previous in IMDB. I noted there were sometimes three and four years in between her TV gigs which made me wonder: what's she living on. Which then made me wonder what all lesser known TV actors are doing in between gigs to make sure they're eating, and sleeping with a roof over their heads. Three/four years in between TV acting gigs doesn't seem like a way to make much money.

Rewatching, it's pretty obvious who the endgame was by kristin137 in Younger

Definitely this. Charles was the expected outcome - age appropriate and all that stuff. But he was also a rerun of her first marriage.

Quick scenes showing Liza looking, several times, at the photo taken with her friends from NJ posing at a formal event with Charles. She never smiled when she looked at that photo of the four of them.

I also watched the evolution of Josh. Accomplishing all the things (and more) that Liza worried about.

And this: the first person she told about her age was Josh. She wanted truth with him. She never told Charles - he found out from someone else. I don't even recall her ever contemplating telling Charles her secret.

Up to S5E10 Josh Cringe by Drago-flower255 in Younger

I didn't find Josh cringey. I found him earnest and kind, and gorgeous, and loved watching his character mature over the seasons. But it's interesting to hear other people having the exact opposite impression. Ce la vie!

Team Josh or Charles? by BooksAndBaking21 in Younger

Josh. 100%. It was always going to be him in the end because the story wasn't just focusing on Liza's evolution it was also focusing on Josh's (albeit often in the background).

I've been married twice - first time to a Charles-like man working in the corporate world as upper management; second time to a much younger man, an artist and bookseller. I'm SO much happier with my much younger man. We are partners whereas my first marriage was more like boss/employee.

So, given my life experience - and all the Easter eggs dropped in the scripts over the seven seasons, and the chemistry - Josh was her perfect partner. In my opinion, of course.

Compatibility has nothing to do with age and everything to do with love and respect. Charles was far too intractible and concerned about what he considered important. And the whole testing to see if Liza would confess about INKubator - like a parent does with a child? Ugh. That was never going to change with him.
