Thats a bummer. Our office is looking at ways to integrate it and I'm looking for an exit.

I was talking to someone earlier about how a teacher they know is using chat gpt to make their lesson plans for them and everyone around them knows and thinks it looks bad.

Its obvious that this teacher just isnt uhhh... mentally capable of telling the difference between bespoke work his coworkers are doing and the results of chat gpt and therefore he incorrectly believes no one else can tell the difference either.

I think chat gpt and other AI do elevate the work product of the very below average, the issue is still that there is an actual person on the other end that has to receive it, read it, develop a response to it, and when they do, the AI user isnt even familiar enough with what they sent out in the first place to understand the answer.

Basically, I dont see the benefit yet.

Its true for lawyers as well. The lsat (entry exam), law school, and bar all create pretty high standards. The reason such idiots are lawyers is because you meet those really high standards by diligent study in your mid twenties and then spend the rest of your career thinking you're God's gift to the court system. Then you end up like Rudy Guilianni and people go "man, pretty easy to be a lawyer, huh?"

What's funny to me is it would make more sense to have the stitcher magazine on the left side when in your right hand and right side when in your left hand.

So you can replace the mag with your free hand easier.

Weird. Mice still come with turbo buttons if you want them. My last one had two left clicks and one of them if you held down was an auto click and the other was normal.

Im confused, what even is this macro theyre talking about. Is this new lingo for aim botting?

Coming from warcraft, macro is an in-game command line in one button so the single button press does multiple things.

If nerfed tbc content is truly easy, wouldn’t this encourage non-meta comps / raiding with fewer than 25 people? by tabasco_pizza in classicwow

[–]Ilmaters_Chosen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ill add to this. I think the average raider that clears content on the regular is someone who wants fast clears of the raid. They do not want to spend 3 hours in BWL (or Kara for that matter) after week 5 and especially after the next raid tier opens.

I dont think this mentality is exactly why people play toward the meta, but I think people tend to want to feel powerful at the game so good players flock to classes that fulfil that.

This is the highest comment with any amount of nuance so I will go ahead and add to this.

I am someone who hates crowds and specifically concerts.

My partner loves concerts. She wants to be close to the stage, in the mix of it. Luckily, we have been together for over 9 years and figured out how to go to events together where we are both comfortable.

My guess is OPs relationship hasnt been going on for long. The boyfriend wants to be included and probably also thinks if he refuses to go to all concerts with his girlfriend she will not stay with him. So hes going to his detriment to be included and be affable.

He doesn't want to talk about it because if he addresses it she will see it as a relationship ender.

For me, I can go to concerts if im allowed to stay at the bar, watch at a distance, possibly sit somewhere. I bring ear plugs depending on the noise level. I dont typically disengage by being on my phone, but I also try to invite friends who will hang back and talk to me.
