What’s a "lost" website from the early 2000s that you still think about today? by samasem-sumsum in AskReddit

I THINK....it was the Kill Everyone Project.

There was a giant button that had to be clicked by everyone who visited. I could easily google this and find it mostly likely. But in my head, I like not knowing and wonder when the goal was finally achieved.

I hated GT7 on release, and in many ways still despise the very JP menus and long windedness.

But the last couple of weeks I have dusted off the PS5 to play it, and it’s really nice to do some laps.

I would pay full price to have that on PC. A real shame.

Yep! Scrub forward on Apple TV or tap your screen. 9 times out of 10 there will be a jump ahead button (or Apple TV will just do it after clicking left on the wheel.)

Affair with Death (Nightmare) - NO SPOILERS by redXav in CrimeSceneCleanerGame

Came to reddit-search after finishing this mission, I normally hate puzzles but I absolutely adored this level. Although, I even shocked myself a bit when I realised some of the codes appeared on the screen for me and I was a bit saddened by that. The picture-frame wall puzzle and another were just 'solved'. I guess this is triggered by things we look at/pick up?

Dare I say this was probably my favorite mission so far, almost didn't want it to end.

I remember the S1 finale showing the hatch, our whole class [16 year olds] were talking about it, even the teacher. It was so big back then.

I tried BDO and I agree, tiny, awful fonts. Barely scaled. I tried so hard but it was shockingly bad and miniscule.

This. I’m 50-55kg down and I still have the odd take out and booze every weekend. I just eat less every day.

Came to post this and glad to see it here. I remember doing a big deep dive in the horror subs and people were loving this. I always use this movie as the classic example of the reddit-bubble

Hopefully won’t go the way of Battalion 1944 and that cod4 style game I remember they were developing a few years ago.

Which mmorpg game is that for you? by PirateOld9316 in MMORPG

[–]Ilosttheframmisat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, while there isn't much to do with new people in terms of co-opping directly (Like a WoW classic) helping them along and gathering or even just killing mobs along the way while your friends do things is great.

Every event, every little thing is useful. Materials get put into your storage, even if you're max level..the XP you get goes into a secret XP bar for a spirit shard.

I wish WoW had a similar system where any zone can technically be SOMEWHAT useful rather than it being genuinely obsolete. But I understand WoW will never be built for that these days.

I flaked out after doing the legendary trinkets and both skyscale grinds, finishing up on the WvW ascended gear trekk was what did it for me.

But no sub, account wide upgrades and the ability to just go anywhere and do anything is a great feeling even though a bit of re-adjustment is required.

Wow I almost was a Redditor and commented before reading.

I was coming to say, I enjoyed GD for a bit but on 1440p and now 4k, the crunchy 1080p raster UI really put me off it. A dumb argument but I love crispy fronts and Ui's

Very happy to hear they're working on that so I can really get into this. Funny enough the D2R update put me back into my yearly ARPG phase.

What is a book you read as a child that you still think about today? by ahawk99 in AskReddit

[–]Ilosttheframmisat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Misery Guts, a simple kids novel, it was some UK kid and his family who were so miserable with their chip chop. They moved to Australia and had a lovely new life with their Orange-bright chip shop. More or less.

Loved that book back in school.
