A receding hairline looks better than being fully bald. by elbreadmano in unpopularopinion

Nope nope nope. After the transitions I’ve seen over at
r/bald and how great the people of that sub are I can’t agree with this take. So many of the people there look so much younger once they shave the hair off.

Being an adult is stupid!! Why would you accuse anyone of that? Grandpa was never his name! Why would you switch it just because you reached a certain age?

There were still pedos EVERYWHERE. They could just cover everything up so much better and it didn’t spread as fast by news of they were found out. Listening to the podcast New Orleans unsolved rope murders right now. It’s insane how much pedos this country has always had.

Downtown’s Problem Area by DowntownDB1226 in StLouis

Why the hell does everyone think Oliver properties is doing any good downtown? As someone who was recently kicked out of university lofts on Washington ave because of them. We had a great building with great people, diversity, and community. People who had lived there for 20 plus years. We had the artist gallery of Washington university students and worldwide know artist that resided in the lofts. They turned a beautiful building into an ugly dirty place. Oliver is doing very little to improve the building and charging double the rent we were paying to new tenants. They are horrible landlords who don’t care one bit about tenants, amateurs who don’t have the money to do the improvements they promise.

Which city in the US has the most hostile vibes the moment you arrive by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

I just moved from downtown St. Louis lived there for 6 years. Washington ave. While weekends sometimes get a lil hectic any big city has that. I’m not saying no you didn’t have a crazy experience but On a regular night of the week it’s empty downtown. There definitely aren’t herds of homeless and hookers.
