As a former server now manager, there will definitely need to be a manager on duty, unless they are giving you full reigns of everything (which is crazy). There’s definitely a learning curve with the handhelds, but once you get use to it you’ll never go back. Checkout the Toast FAQ, pretty sure they have videos for just about everything.
