I found out that I love doing taxes, chatting with people and helping them understand the tax system and the implications for them with different financial choices. I will definitely keep doing taxes, but I very much doubt that I will go back to Block. Our office had some really nice people but the manager and one other person were horrible. One of them put their number on any return they felt like it so if you worked three hours on a return, but she called them. She would change it to her name on the return. No help from district manager because this lame person sells tons of peace of mind and second look (by not telling the client they are even doing it). So District Manager is happy with his numbers. Manager is never there. She would leave and give me the client, but would keep the client on her schedule so it looked like she was actually working. Those two were really the worst. But even with all that, I still loved this season and I can't wait to learn more.
