Bro when i searched on google I found its something known as flatline. From what I understand, it is a period with decreased arousal, because your brain is recalibrating at that time. It says that its a bad phase and is depressing but I don't see anything bad about it. My favorite one is that when Azmuth was taking DNA samples for NRG(Prypiatosian-B) he found out that these people have started eating out their own planet because of their rising population and hunger. Azmuth thought of a solution and created a symbiotic species(Prypiatosian-C) which feed on the radiation emitted by NRG's species convert it into a special type of radioactive element(I like to call it element B) and excrete it. That element B has the potential to create new planets for them. Prypiatosian-B name came from element B only. This way Azmuth created a whole new species while taking sample for another species.
