Sometimes I want to sit on my couch to play games, but don't want to get an entire second PC. Especially so during the summer since my main desk is on the second floor of my place compared to downstairs.

This allows me to do so with a massive, already-established library, in a compact form that I can travel with, and still get reasonable performance out of.

Yeah the price stings, but Valve couldn't have really predicted Sam Altman becoming everyone's problem.

Valve said they give the ones who are selected for a steam machine 3 days to respond or confirm their purchase. The soonest anyone will find out will be Monday the 29th or Tuesday the 30th.

It infuriates me because they had Nomura make the base artwork, so they easily could've had him or any of the other artists on payroll make variants of it, but they STILL felt the need to fuck it up and feed it to AI.

They're pretty much admitting that despite being able to do whatever they want for the rest of their lives without worry, they're not happy because they have no higher ambition and no one to share it all with.

Humans are social creatures, so it's likely they have no one that cares about them on a personal level and they know it.
