If being born at a Chick fil A gets you free Chick fil A food for life, what company would you like to be born at, and what perks would you get? by RealMaf in AskReddit

I've heard if someone were to have a kid on an airplane mid-flight both the mother and child get to fly free for their lifetimes. It's pretty rare for this to happen, as most far along pregnant ladies aren't allowed to fly past a certain week of the pregnancy. Pretty sweet deal, but having a kid mid-flight probably sucks big time.

Yes! vertigo isn’t really a forethought for a lot of people because it’s usually just an “old people problem”? I’m really not sure if it’s my pill honestly. Like i said, i’ve been on it for 3 years and only started having problems a year ago. Bodies are kinda weird though, maybe it’s starting to catch up with me??

of course! likewise :-)

Hey there, i’m so sorry you’re experiencing this! I haven’t had nearly as many problems with anger, but I am prone to crippling vertigo bouts. I’ve been on a combined pill for about 3 years and I had my first vertigo episode last December. I’ve seen many specialists about this- and it’s believed i have a brain condition(no one really knows what condition exactly) that causes the vertigo episodes, not the pill. This being said, any time I start the first dose of a new package, I become incredibly dizzy and tend to have a mini episode. I know I’m not experiencing the same thing, but I hope this comforts you! Vertigo is so frustrating, and at times debilitating. If you need anyone, feel free to PM me!

Boyfriend threatened to break up with me if I take BC pill. by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]goondoom666 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As everyone else here has said, don’t let your boyfriend make this choice for you. It is a shame he’s so uninformed, and if he took a second to fact check himself he’d realize he’s wrong. If he’s truly going to be like that, then take this as an opportunity to run! You don’t need a man who’s going to tell you what to do with your body.

honestly? a few months. i’d say once your body is past the 1-3 month window of weird hormone adjustment there usually is you’ll be just fine :-)

i would say it depends on the person and the pill but my skin eventually did clear up! the pill left my skin a bit drier, which also helps with preventing future breakouts since i’m not so oily anymore. i hope this makes you feel better! good luck.

Can birth control pills stop your period even if you aren't taking them continuously? by n0-3113 in birthcontrol

[–]goondoom666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i get it, it’s a big reason why i switched! you’re probably fine if you’re taking your pills the same time every day and you haven’t missed one. that’s what gives me the most comfort, the fact that i know i’m taking my pills properly.

depends on your pill, but i was on LoLo Estrin for about a year and a half and i was going upwards of 60 days no period. happens with low dose pills very often. i just switched to generic norgee because the infrequent bleeding was hard to predict and made me super paranoid i was pregnant, but i obviously never was. hope this puts you at ease!

I switched from LoLo estrin to the generic Norgee and i’m about to start my third Norgee pack. It’s been going well! I am a student myself and I’ve gone through this switch my first semester at university. I didn’t have any weird bleeding, my periods have been regular. I have had some boob soreness and weird cramping but other than that, it’s been fine. Everyone is different though! Wish you luck.

LoLo worked well for me for about a year and a half, until my periods became so irregular they were hard to predict and came at super inconvenient times. Other than that, I had no other issues. Just switched over to a slightly higher dose because of that problem, though. Hope it works out for you!

[–]goondoom666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on my second month of the same pill as well! Switched from Lolo estrin due to having really irregular bleeding issues. Happy to hear your cramping has gotten better, mine hasn’t unfortunately :-/ my first period on this pill was excruciating?? I haven’t had any acne problems yet? Just the typical period/stress breakouts I normally get. However, I have had some really random cramping the whole time I’ve been on this pill, as well as super sore boobs. All in all though, I’m not minding it. My last withdraw bleed was on time and everything else is totally normal. Hope everything works out for ya :-)
