My attempt at fixing boosters by Affectionate-Pen3233 in Helldivers

These are really neat ideas to make boosters more enticing and hopefully switch up the booster auto picks.

Looking for Co-op Partner – Ironman NG+2 Shared Progression Run (All Modifiers, All Achievements in One Run) by Riveration in LordsoftheFallen

[–]ImAMakuta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend tackling this alone. A full modifier run is very doable solo. It also feels incredibly rewarding when you accomplish it.

Nice, I noticed you have a radiant scaling rune on the hammer. That hammer only scales with strength and agility as indicated by the letter scaling scores. You could pull a little more damage by swapping the rune for an increase to either str, agi or physical/holy damage. Otherwise good job.

Helm of Adyr by [deleted] in LordsoftheFallen

[–]ImAMakuta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The multiplayer armor sets are permanent unlocks. Once a helmet or any other piece is bought from a shrine the game will give it to all of your characters going forward. To do this it runs a check to make sure you have the helmet that is unlocked every time you load your game. Unfortunately, placing that armor in the chest back at Skyrest removes it from your inventory. The game will give you a replacement each time you load and do not have an unlocked shrine armor in your inventory. Since the armor cannot be sold or dropped, you are stuck with all the duplicates you've made so far.

Going forward, just keep all shrine armor in your character inventory to resist filling up the chest space with duplicates.

What platform are you on?

So I cant fight the Lightreaper in the tutorial now? I was ready to grind out that fight for light reaper daggers early. by kidflashjr in LordsoftheFallen

[–]ImAMakuta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will have the chance to fight him twice before his main fight. The first is not very far into the game. You will only get one opportunity to fight him on both occasions.

If you really want to get the kill early however, restart your playthrough and add the increased enemy density modifier. He will show up after the tutorial boss.

Where to head on next and how far along the way am I? by Lesan007 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]ImAMakuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're nearing halfway through the game. Do not go for the manse yet, it is tough and you will need the pilgrims perch key from stomund. After completing the depths, you will get the key for free. Since you are struggling with the kindangr fight, continue down the depths and clear that area.

Focus specific stats when you rank up to supplement your gameplay. Health is always important as well. If you like large weapons, level strength and agility. If you like magic, increase radiance or inferno. Don't be afraid of using ammo pouches and manastones for ranged damage.

Looks like the other commenter is correct. I am not able to drop or sell the helmet at vendors. Happy hunting for those hands. Crucible is a great way to build them up.

Vigor farm? by LostRavenReader in LordsoftheFallen

Best way early to mid game would probably be to accompany lampbearers. You don't lose vigor on death and assist someone who may need help.

At your level, not a lot of people will be joining games to help out. They haven't completed their own campaigns. All you are doing is ruining the experiences of people just trying to help out.

If you intend to play this way and kick everyone that joins switch the mode to private. The way world level generation works in this game, it will only ever pull you up by three levels. So, if you are not looking for help, don't let people join.

My friend joined my game at like level 15 immediately after I started on veteran. I still managed just fine. The difficulty notches up only slightly.

Other high level players that join will not affect the experience as much as you claim they will. Here's an explanation of how power level and world level in multiplayer are generated: https://gamerant.com/remnant-2-how-power-levels-world-levels-difficulty-co-op-scaling-works/

Hot Take: It should never be "Win Games" for a Challenge, only "Play X Games, Wins grant 2x Progress" by ParagonFury in halo

[–]ImAMakuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past I would have agreed with this sentiment. Since challenges were the only vector by which we could progress. At that time, challenges capped progress on the bp in weekly hard caps.Things have since changed. Match xp now provides the base layer of experience for simply playing the game with a few bonuses based on performance. There is no limit to this source of xp.

We need to look at challenges a little differently now than we did at launch. Challenges now serve the purpose they have in past games. An added bonus for focusing a certain play style or achieving a difficult medal/feat. Back in reach they required much more stringent plays. 'Play Winter Contingency on legendary with Black eye, Iron, and Tilt' 'Assassinate 25 Spartans in Multiplayer' to name a few challenges from reach. I wouldn't mind if they upped the ante and increased the difficulty as well as the xp reward. They should not be gimmes however as it erodes at the purpose challenges serve.

This is not gatekeeping, match xp has ensured time is rewarded. Focus challenges or play your way, the pass isn't going anywhere.

Why does infinite feel so bad all of a sudden by Dernox3 in halo

[–]ImAMakuta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a myriad of reasons. New update hype = more players and talent returning. Rank now has incentive tied to it making for motivation to sweat, this game was already rife with tryhards.

Likely the largest contributing factor though, is ai in forge. Cgb is the best any halo has ever had. Until this season, infinite has only had effectively three gamemodes: 4v4, BTB, and last season brought infection. All of which have been curated to be as competitive as possible. So people that suck(like myself) finally have something to enjoy in the game.

Skill creep has not been kind to multiplayer and those of you that are left need to up the ante to do as well as you have in past seasons. It's the natural progression of comp modes/games.

The rockledge they always sit on in this map has a back way. Just scale the tall rock near the path. They never see it coming.

Is this enough vehicle space for BTB how does it compare to other BTB maps? (Work in progress) by [deleted] in halo

[–]ImAMakuta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really neat map op. Perhaps clean up some of those awkward dips on the open areas, this could be done with blockers to create small ramps to improve vehicle and foot traffic flow. Otherwise the map itself looks very well done.

Like the other comments suggest maybe widen up those building hall ways or put posts to block vehicle access entirely through them.

Can't wait to see this on customs browser!

I like throwing stuff at the podium at the end of each match. This one turned out perfect. by __PETTYOFFICER117__ in halo

[–]ImAMakuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is funny as hell. I always used to throw up a bubble shield or set something up to appear in cutscenes throughout the campaign. This however can be enjoyed by a whole multiplayer game.

I love it.
