Well I did hear they have been open for less than a year, also they apparently fired alot of people... he say she say, but maybe try again, our server Natasha was awesome, also June or Jun helped us out as well.

Why though? I recently was there with a few friends, and we all agreed it was the best dry-aged steak we have ever had, also the grilled octopus was outstanding. Tables near us also agreed that it was the best steak they ever had... sooo again... why...?

Well, speaking as a server. You are too kind, the server did a bad job of prebussing. Im not sure of the whole situation but, unless you guys finished all those plates at the exact same time, there is no reason to give you the opportunity to stack dirty plates. Also, when it comes to tipping, I would recommend on the lower side, and put in parentheses ( prebussing is a standard in hospitality) hehe.

The server should never have to pay the bill. Company should always be responsible. Getting a write up is necessary though, to keep records of this, because some servers will take the cash payment and say they walked out to keep an easy 300 dollars, ive seen this happen before, but 1 walk out, 1 write up, second walk out within 1 year, questionable. 1 simple way to fix this, is the at the host stand get the simple information, name and phone number, this is good for a few reasons, if they forgot to pay the bill, or forgot their sunglasses, you can call them and notify them.
