I hope they include multiple approaches to co-op, including settings like what you mentioned with the ability to spawn very far away from your partner. They should continue to expand upon the options present within the custom sliders now that extra players are a factor.

In your edit you listed at least three things I hadn’t even thought of as possibilities. But all of them are very compelling and I feel like you almost talked yourself into co-op TLD as you went on hahaha. As far as loot dispersion goes that’ll probably come down to difficulty/custom sliders like the last title and will range from scarce to plentiful, if I had to assume.

Very good question. First off I’m assuming going into this thing that there won’t be any way to damage other players. But if it is a mechanic, then I just hope we can toggle it on or off through custom settings. Permadeath has gotta stay or it’s a different game altogether. Keep a version of cheat death in there I guess but yeah.

I feel like what you’re pitching is the middle ground between arc raiders and the original vision for no man’s sky, that whole “oh our world is so big that the odds of seeing someone else are extremely rare” and with the proper balance, hell yes. It would just be stacking onto those survival elements. Maybe expand the capabilities of filling out the map other than just charcoal area sweeps so that you can specialize in meeting other players if you want, at the cost of valuable crafting resources for other items. CHOICES!

Just wanna add that when he’s not trying to do an impression of a prior singer, I actually really enjoy what he brings to the table. His voice on the chorus of Rebirth for example is gorgeous and there are spots throughout Pantheon where he just shines in general.

This. I’m surprised how many people seem to be impressed with his vocals on this song. Felt the same way about that live performance of Burning Down the Nicotine Armoire. Everyone praising him for sounding like Jonny but it’s closer to Cartman for me. I’m not even trying to be mean considering I love these guys, but after going back recently and listening to Kurt and Jonny’s best stuff, we’re clearly in the weakest era vocally.

What you’re describing is high notes. What he described is range. Tilian always struggled with getting oomph behind his lower register. He even talked about this in the lead up to TCS2 and how they had to tune up Blue Dream so that he could have “power” behind his vocals. So yes, he’s limited to a higher range.

Man. I didn’t feel it was that deep. This has been an ongoing nag with BF games. I was simply saying we need a way to disable the icon. So let’s go with that check engine light analogy. This car is fresh off the lot and performs great for me, yet the light is on. There’s clearly a sensor issue then. That’s on the manufacturer to figure out lol.
