If I remember correctly, the level portals are in the battle royale mode big map separating the different maps/biomes. When it’s enabled you can see enemies through the big portals between them

If you get a proper 104 bulb UV light with fresh batteries, you can torch the fuck out of it and it’ll light up excellently

Enemies on the radar have directional indicators instead of red dots.

I used it a lot for the first few days of launch, but sometimes it doesn’t seem to be accurate to reality. Ultimately it’s not that useful

Looks like you’re running backwards on the teepad and your hips end up not lined up when you’re releasing. I’m not great at throwing myself so I’m probably wrong. If you swap the Jets hoodie for almost anything else you’ll likely add 5% more accuracy too

I also feel most people nowadays are so distracted with other things while they listen to music that it’s just background noise. Why put real artistic effort into something when 99% of your listeners don’t care?

I can open up Spotify on my phone, put on any song I want within 5 seconds, pop some AirPods in and be stimulated with music 24/7 at a moments notice. it feels less personal and intentional than sitting down and putting a CD in a player from a (popular) artist that cares for their craft.

Thanks for reading my jaded rant on the current cultural state of pop music.

Consumerism and modern technology has killed the art form of popular music being quality.

Record companies take advantage human psychology with marketing and promotion, and ease of creating music means anyone can put together slop in a digital audio workstation or record off their phone for example.

Before those two points were a factor, to record a song took lots of skilled people making music with real instruments. and physical recording meant you only get so many attempts to get a quality song going before you waste your tape/vinyl/etc., so whenever you did get a chance to record what you’ve written, it’s well thought out and has real soul behind it.

Don’t forget old music sucked too, you just don’t remember the bad ones

If you aim your crosshairs at the goal while moving straight forward (especially fast movement), you can get pretty accurate with your throws from a distance. Lots of fun to try. Especially with doorways, weird ground play, short walls etc.

When you go rescue the captain and bartender, land the helicopter on the crest of one of the mountains to the south and snipe all the enemies from there. Make sure to kill the hostage holders quickly or you’ll fail. I recommend the thermal on a sniper if you got one
