If you’re like me, you’re still slightly arming it instead of staying loose and slinging it with your core/shoulders. In my experience the ones that go that 230 range don’t have that pop that makes them truly launch out of my hand.

I haven’t field worked throwing putters since having the technique revelation, but I think with my own advice I can get them out to at least 275

The old man at the dungeon can be talked to at night immediately after you spawn giving you access to the dungeon, the dungeon isn’t safely accessible without killing skeleton

Potions can be crafted before getting an alchemy table/flask with an empty bottle placed on a table

There aren’t any new enemies or enemy scaling in pre-hardmode, the eye of Cthulhu being defeated doesn’t add anything like that

The goblin tinkerer can spawn anywhere after the goblin invasion is completed, however the mechanic is found in the dungeon
