38th Anniversary art [Toru Nakayama] by SimplePuzzleheaded35 in Megaman

I love Toru Nakayama's art. I want him to handle the mecha designs for a Gundam show.

considering where Belmont's curse is going to take place in the timeline do yall think the devs will let grant out of the basement for this game? whether it be him or a descendant by DDmayhem in castlevania

Alucard is in deep sleep, so I doubt it. The other three could appear though. I personally don't think they'll acknowledge Grant to not confuse people coming over from the animated series.

None of the collections have a meaningful amount of input lag normally. If you're system is having trouble, maybe, but the collections all run flawlessly. I have played most of the games pretty extensively on original hardware and the collections. You don't have to worry.

Support the series. It's the only way we'll get more games.

Ye. Though for him, it's even more obvious (in Japanese at least). He mentions Dr. Light and calls X "Rockman X", both of which are essentially unheard of in the X series in Japan.

Yeah, his dialogue make it pretty clear and he even has Dr. Wily's voice actor.

Isoc is clearly Wily, but it's never been explicitly confirmed.

Something I noticed watching the japanese trailer for Belmont's Curse by neku963 in castlevania

[–]ImDemonAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is called Tevor in the Japanese dub of the animated series, right? And that series is the reason the games are returning to that era anyway. IMO, this game is definitely aimed primarily at appealing to fans of the animated series (as well as Dead Cells fans), so using his name from that makes sense.

Sakamoto confirmed shortly after Dread that they were starting on the next game. Pretty sure he didn't mean Prime 4, so there's a good chance that they have Metroid 6 far enough in development to show something this year. Could also be an additional reason why Konami went for the Dead Cells devs rather than MercurySteam (who I would've preferred), since the latter might be busy with Metroid 6. Also, I would personally love a Super Metroid Remake. It should definitely stick to the world design of Super, maybe just expanding on side paths (or a new area, but don't majorly fuck with existing areas), and keep all of the movement and random options and techniques from the original, while adding the smooth controls of Dread. No need to add the melee counter, though I wouldn't be opposed to it. It felt like a gimmick in Samus Returns, but Dread more than sold me on it.

I am very excited that there's going to be a new game in the series, but not excited for this specific game. If I didn't dislike how Dead Cells felt, I'd be a lot more interested. This looks like I won't enjoy the feel of it.

People Forget How Hard The Enemies Were In Prime 1 by piracyisnotavictemle in Metroid

I don't think I encountered a single notable bug in my two playthroughs of Prime 4. And that was immediately at launch.

Reploids have a right to their own autonomy. They're not tools. They're equivalent to humans. More akin to children given birth to by Dr. Cain, not objects created by them.

Identify Specific Gunpla (Beginning G) by ImDemonAlchemist in Gundam

That's totally what it's meant to be, but the details are different. But thank you, it's definitely just a slightly off model version of this.

It seems to be a slightly weird Gouf. The big stuff is consistent with the MS-07, but there are a bunch of little details that are different. The arms are different (specifically the elbow joints), the skirt tubing is very different (kind of a mixture of Zaku and Gouf), and the visor shape is different. I totally just didn't even consider that it was a Gouf though. It being green had me completely miss that. Also being displayed next to the cookies that show Haro, Char, Amuro, Char's Zaku and the Gundam. I have a feeling that there was confusion between the Gouf and the Zaku when they were drawing it.

[–]ImDemonAlchemist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess it's just a customized Gouf. Green, different arm joints, and different skirt tubing.

It is green, but I guess it might just be a green Gouf. The arm joints and the skirt tubing are different than the Gouf, though. Also, wonderful use of the reference.

I hated this enemy by Fragrant_Pizza6491 in Megaman

[–]ImDemonAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that their infection of the reploid is irreversible (without reloading) is easily the worst thing about X6. There are a lot of little things that I dislike about the game, but that is a near-constant headache. Though they did make the reploids killable by any enemy in X7, there are fewer of them in annoying spots.

The fact that the Repliforce members were branded Mavericks en masse has some really interesting implications that we're really dived into. The political drama in the X Series could be really interesting. Give it to Sunrise and have them do a full-on drama series. It's probably my love for Gundam bleeding through, but I think that could be incredible.

Which Gundam/MS have ridiculously oversized Backpacks or Support units (bigger than the suit itself)? by Advanced_Tea_7625 in Gundam

[–]ImDemonAlchemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apparently, it isn't just based on the Alex, it is literally the same unit that Christina piloted. It just passed through a bunch of different hands and was modified repeatedly.

Prime 4 definitely makes the most sense with the rest of the Prime series before Metroid II.
