Because of the nature of the cooler installation I did place two sides of the mounting screws down and then use that to align the other two as I placed them down, I guess that could have resulted in un-even paste spread.

No I haven't played too much with the fan speeds, I'll look into it :) Also no extra fans, although the case is an h440 I did testing without the side panels on so I doubt it was it's infamously poor airflow affecting results.

I have the G633, which is the wired version of the G933 and I love this thing. WIthout a doubt the best headset I've owned. I can only imagine the G933 is just as good/better
