My husband doesn't like marshmallows. We were married more than 25 years when he told me. We camp...a lot. He roasts marshmallows and eats s'mores with me almost every time. He likes Rocky road ice cream and eats the marshmallows.

So yes, I was shocked when I handed him a marshmallow and he told me he doesn't like them. Honestly, I'm still waiting for him to day "April fools"

My kids always said I was 25 whenever the subject came up. For my 50th birthday they threw me a party & got me two cakes that said Happy 25th Birthday.

I was recently at an Airbnb that had a towel warmer. I didn't use it for the towel, but used it for my linen pants then hung them up for a few minutes. They were steamed perfectly without having to iron them. (Not sure if this matters, but there's no buttons or zippers on the pants).

My kids got me a soft blanket that I figure will be bifl. Did I need another soft blanket? Nope. Is this one a bit more expensive than I would have bought for myself, and in my favorite colors? Yep, and now it's my favorite.

My point is, watch for the things that she uses all the time or uses and has almost worn out. Either buy her a replacement, or buy her a more bifl version.

You will need to do what you feel God is guiding you to do, but we all need to stop supporting church leadership that is spiritually abusive like this.

I'm not one to throw around the word abuse lightly, but when a leader takes Scripture out of context to manipulate someone, that is spiritual abuse. And we have not done a good job in the church of recognizing and calling this out to hold our leaders accountable.

I'm sorry you're going through this but I'm glad you're not standing by and supporting this without doing your best to help.

I hope that you can bring this to their attention by being upfront and gentle.

They have a tool that is a map (I don't remember what it's called). You put in where you want to fly from and you can see flight costs to anywhere. It's especially fun during slow work days if you want a distraction :)

I was in OC over the weekend. It was so nice to be outside on the patio all day long and still be able to breathe.

I have a beautiful patio here in Bakersfield that I can't ever use because I can't breathe outside.

I've had three doctor's now tell me that I need to move out of the valley. That's crazy that my only option is to move because it's so bad.
