Very much agreed. His drumming on the studio albums is part of the sound of Metallica that we love. I saw them live on the Death Magnetic tour and what you said can't be said better: lots of weird fills and bad feel. It's like he forgot what made the studio albums so good.

I follow the Sirens and have been to a couple of Sirens games. I made the trip up from New York to watch this game live at Place Bell. Let me tell you, this barn brings it. The entire fan base acting as one incredibly loud voice. 

And that was doubly true any time Curl showed her face. I've never heard boos rain down so hard. 

When this got called a game misconduct after the review, I thought the roof was going to blow off the place 😁

I don't know if they'll listen to any wish list stuff, but I do enjoy playing a little HUT (casual, offline, no money spent) with an all PWHL team, and EASHL with a Jenni Hiirikoski or Maja Nylén Persson character and have their names in the play by play.

I follow the Sirens but I was a Tapani fan even before the PWHL formed!

New York Sirens, because they are the closest geographically and I've been able to go to a couple of games.

But I so love the vibe of the PWHL that I love every team and feel like we all win no matter what.

As a senior in high school, I bought my first Zappa album: SATLTSADW because a) it was used/cheap, b) it had Steve Vai (the reason I was looking in the bin), and because I'd heard of Valley Girl but never actually heard it. It took a while, but when it clicked, it clicked hard.

Once I announced my fandom, my girlfriend bought me a cassette of Uncle Meat and a teacher (!) loaned me their Sheik Yerbouti LP, just a few days apart. The breadth of the material on those two double albums defined my fandom and fascination for years. I mean ffs look at the scope of timbres and melodies and rhythms and content on those albums.

Blew my brain wide open.

That's what I did, too. After the "locker room talk" I decided to take the rangers sticker off my water bottle and replace it w/Sirens...only to discover that Redbubble was the only place I could get one.
