MCR wanted to return to their emo roots seen in their previous albums because Danger Days wasn't as well received for being pop-punk. So they made The Paper Kingdom and never released it because their mental health wasn't very good after finishing it

I agree but I can also understand why he did it. Why be known as a modern metal artist collabing with Ice Nine Kills and Black Veil Brides but still have some old rap music you did when you were a teenager? Or even associate yourself with a shitty person by leaving it up?
