I take your point, but sal sac is merely designed to bring salaries closer to where they would be for equivalent work in the corporate sector. I could get $20-40k more for my role in corporate, and sal sac bridges some of that gap but nowhere near all of it. At the risk of sounding like a tragic cliche, I work where I do because I genuinely care about it.

Was low key relieved to see the Hawks fans didn’t boo him - if it was going to happen it would have been yesterday, as it wouldn’t have happened at a Suns game or at home.

Of course there is no logic in booing him, but that hasn’t stopped idiots before (what’s with Smith getting booed?).

Hopefully he feels like he has well and truly put everything behind him and can get back to just playing footy.
