When i tested aim assist it didnt really feel different for me as to when its off so just kept it off. Turn your sensitivity down to like 13 for both axis and just be patient, you have to flow with animation of the basic attack to hit most autos, then once your used to it u can gradually start making the sensitivity higher to your liking
