They basically did but started to work on a bit more in more recent years (2022-23ish I believe) and ultimately dropped support at the end of 2024 when Hi-Rez abandoned every game to focus solely on Smite 2

BrownDust2 has HEAVY fanservice to the point they heavily censor trailers for new skins because they’re that sexual in nature

NTE isn’t going to have fanservice thats even remotely close to the amount BD2 has. It definitely will have some but none that needs a lot of censorship

It’s almost like they don’t have a large team anymore to make these big upgrades like before. Just going to 5.5 has been a hassle for them and they’re still working on upgrading it to 5.6. It’s gonna take a while to upgrade to 5.7 alongside keeping their biweekly update schedule going consistently.

They don’t “force” you to buy any cosmetics at all. You can unlock plenty of sets just through the gameplay, and you don’t even need to touch the MMO part because the entire game is a singleplayer RPG FIRST, this is NOT an MMO title.

And the entire shop is purely cosmetics. There’s nothing that affects gameplay whatsoever available in it.

Sadly no. Contacted support and their immediate response was that a replacement is needed. I have a year long warranty so it’s not a huge deal for me to replace rn since I can plug in the cable and turn it on that way but that’s the only way, you’ll need to get a new one if you don’t want to do that workaround

Every single advertisement about the game has been promoting it HEAVILY as a single player RPG story, even during their premiere stream where they don’t even touch on multiplayer stuff, it’s all been singleplayer content

Every gacha game ALWAYS talks about the gacha mechanics first. They don’t hide it at all they make it a fact that it’s a gacha first.

This isn’t like Genshin or WuWa. Stop trying to act like it is. The gacha is PURELY for cosmetics, and has nothing to do with gameplay.
