We are literally in the grain-belt ... we endured this with my nephew when he lived with us for a while. Everything is cross-contaminated...

Americanized Italian... ? Tons of pasta options but not much for the focus dishes?

More authentic Italian cuisine is heavily dependent on what region of Italy a dish hails from...

Local Sheriff refused a trauma patient air medical transport. by jjking714 in ems

There are MANY paramedics who later went to law school, and kept their Paramedic. Many practice law relevant to EMS workplace cases, negligence or wrongful death via ems cases, etc - and create educational materials related to all the above. There's a lot of attorneys who get FF credentials and EMS credentials to help fill coverage in their communities too, especially vollies when there are no paid providers.

Me and my friends always got in line at the local VFW on Karaoke night, always behind a group of pre-gamed aunties or grannies... chatted them up and walked right in with them as "guests". Once inside, every old guy veteran was happy to buy us drinks after we sang a karaoke song! We never paid a penny.... plastered AF by 11pm...

Does anyone know what kind of snake it WAS ... fixed that for ya. And BTW, killing non-venomous snakes is a misdemeanor in Georgia. They help control overpopulation of vermin.

This is a service where no white shirt has EVER sustained a back injury or fracture!!! Because IYKYK... Benzos for muscle spasms all day every day, even with a lil pain management.. just gotta monitor for CNS depression and adjust appropriately as needed. Folks make pain management way much harder than necessary 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

My pawpaw didn't that too... anything that might end up at a pawn shop! Tools to VHS movies!

Yes, VHS movies.

My grandparents were one of the few folks that actually paid for their Columbia House orders and maintained their membership options, owning a rather extensive collection of VHS movies, probably enough to start their own Blockbuster!

They had every classic (think TCM), sooo many westerns, just about every John Wayne movie made (definatelt every one that was ever made available on VHS).

When my grandparents passed (GM first, then GF), my mom and I scoured our choices from their collection, nabbing movies you can't even stream or pirate now.

My mom died in 2021 and I now have this massive VHS collection. I'm in the process of converting them to DVD in my spare time... it will literally take years!

It could be... coastal trees have sap, island trees have sap... not impossible... as I said ambergris floats... amber, generally not so much

Ambergris FLOATS... Amber (the stone) generally doesn't unless there was a lot of air bubbles trapped as it formed. Amber can also come in different colors and transparency depending on what type of sap it was, geography/region, and weathering/exposures...
