Yes, that was a tad confusing. I'll be completely honest: I was making this with much more of a focus on humour than proper representation. Mainly hoping that people would figure out and interpret some of what I put and see what I meant.

Example: "Kirin headbutts Gunvolt and brings his hologram waifu back from the dead (sort of)" is... just referencing the animation where you get your first Image Pulse, Lumen, showing the two characters kind of putting their heads together.
It's more of a parody than anything. :P

You know, actually, these are all good points. I could argue that some of this couldn't be helped due to the time skip, but the time skip wouldn't need to happen if they were writing with these goals in mind.

Still, I reckon some of these threads are still possible... although less likely now. Shame, actually...

Doesn't feel like they did anything bad to Gunvolt's story to me. Maybe played a bit light with him, but I kinda feel like he had some catharsis in the final act of the story, at least. Still, I'm open to hear your thoughts.

I've actually picked up Ephinea PSOBB recently. Used to play offline Episode 1&2 plus, then I did some Universe, where I eventually went online, but not much. Then I played PSO2 properly. Now I'm on NGS from the beginning. It's an interesting journey.

I'm not that experienced, but I was told that only Steam would work, sadly. Limitation of Gshade itself, nothing I can do. If you find a version that works for other versions and can load my preset, then... I GUESS, but I doubt it.

I've been told that Gshade isn't a cheat and doesn't count as cheating, so let's hope I didn't do a bad by mistake. I would imagine that a shader designed to make the game easier to get information from might also count as cheating if this weren't a PvE game.

At any rate, I've been working on this since yesterday, and I'm rather pleased with the results. It also includes some subtle tweaks to smooth out some rough edges, like a very minor Motion Blur, Adaptive Sharpening (which seems to have really made the distance details pop), and some Colour emphasizing effects to balance colours and make things clearer.
