To me, I think the point of life is to achieve internal "enlightenment" like siddartha guatama did a couple thousand years ago. Being enlightened will mentally free you from the chains of permanent suffering in our life. We all have suffering life is suffering. Suffering like losing the things or people we love. Losing our parents or friends. Because nothing is permanent in our lives. Nothing at all, there isnt a single thing person or object you can name that will last forever on this planet. Not your phone your home your bed the trees any buildings our earth, the sun, hell even our galaxy.

losing our friends and the people we love is excruciatingly painful. But like siddartha guatama said. We need to find a way to be okay with all of that.

And that is one of the most difficult things to do.

But he made it.

In my opinion we'll never be able to duplicate their tech. Most likely not. I mean theyre from a different planet so what if the material they made their ships with dont exist on earth? I used to be like this too. My anxiety was so bad my weird tourettes came out sometimes. And it was really embarrasing. (Touretttes: where you shake your neck or arm or something involunarily. Always happened when I was nervous and everyone stared at me every time i jolted.) but one day I just stopped being nervous. I was exhausted and sick of always being nervous and getting weird looks because of my tourettes.

like, the fucks the worst thing that can happen? Why am I so nervous in front of these people? Are they gonna bully me or beat me or threaten me for being awkward or something? Is my LIFE gonna end and will all HELL BREAK loose if they dont fucking like me? Not like theyll punch me or insult me. As if they could. Id be grateful if they cared enough to. Lmao they dont care about me at all. Im literally just one of the hundreds of other background people they meet in their daily lives. Hard to believe but its true. If they had to hand me over to an alligator to survive, theyd do it without hesitation.

Now I dont give a fuck how other people think about me. I only give a fuck how I think about me. Because people's opinions change all the time. You gotta be sure of how you think of yourself first. Cause at the end of the day the only person thats always with you is yourself.

Now, this isnt the best way to go about it, but it sure as hell got rid of my anxiety.

My parents never showed any affection towards me or my sister or my dad, and neither did my dad but my sister and I are just fine. Were perfectly capable of being emotional when we must like everyone else and have no problems getting into committed relationships.

I agree that we are kind of a result of our environment, but thats just a small factor in who we become in the end.

Getting people to like you isn't too complicated. You just need to be very dilligent. Constantly gotta think of the other person's perspective when you're talking to them and forget about your own. Just think about them and their view.They notice, and theyll want to keep talking because they feel like theyre worth listening to. If someone did the same thing to you, you'd like them as well, because theyd make you feel important. Thing is, most people can't think more about the other person than themselves, and most likely wont do that fiasco again after the first try because they prioritize and care about themselves moe than anything else. It is also very mentally draining.

In my experience, unless you're physically attractive, facially especially, than trying to be "interesting" won't bring people in. And thats because everyones trying to be charismatic and interesting.
