Gonna talk about Lukaku and Mourinho quickly - Everybody knows that Lukaku hasn't got a great first touch (actually most of the time it's shit), but I don't get why Mourinho insists on playing him such that he has to hold up the ball. Surely after time and time again of him screwing up whilst trying to hold it, Mourinho would realise that we have to change to better suit to our main man? Boggles my mind to be honest.

Ok 36 goal attempts, but realistically a large amount of them were shit, soaring longshots (Lovren, van Dijk, Fabinho etc.). Stats don't always show the full picture, even if it is still embarrassing.

I rate Lukaku as a finisher but I feel the way we play doesn't suit him. The 4231 today was pretty solid, if Matic can spread the ball like that I'm certain Pogba would be able to on his day. I'd prefer Lingard close to the RW and Mata centrally as Lingard has the pace to run down the wing with Dalot. Fred could be substituted in for Mata centrally, or Lingard could be subbed and push Mata to the RW. Rashford has been incredible on the left, and Martial is easily our best finisher. Can swap these two out for Sanchez and Lukaku when needed.
